Pepenando 2006

 

For the International Cervantino Festival in Guanajuato in 2006, the installation “Pepenado” was constructed with recycled plastic bottles, manipulated to form floating flowers in the XIXth Century dam “Presa de la Olla”. The plastic flowers made of trash symbolize the new artificial nature of a civilization of endless consumption and waste.
