X-Tinct Species  2007

 

Ana Quiroz has constructed a small collection of objects that one could belong in an imaginary new cabinet of fantastic zoological monstrosities or in some new species  of Wunderkammer.
 
However the subject matter of this cabinet of curiosities does not necessarily refer to the incomprehensible ever changing evolution of nature, but rather to a series of taxonomic dissections that revolve around issues related to sexual abuse, criminal violence, social attitudes or heinous behavior.
